Google to collaborate with DMRC

Google is collaborating with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to bring Delhi Metro routes to Google Transit.

Google Transit would now feature all the updated information on Delhi Metro schedules and routes.

The search engine giant spoke about this partnership: “Transit service for Delhi Metro would also be available on mobile devices, so commuters can check the latest updates to make route changes on-the-go.”

The service already works with other similar projects in the Indian market including Chennai MRTS, Kolkata Metro, Hyderabad Metro.

This service is likely to become popular during the upcoming Commonwealth Games in India where tons of foreign tourists are expected to visit the city.

Delhi Metro added: “The collaboration with Google is another step to make it even easier for the public to plan their trips with transit information on Google Maps.”
